Modeling and Rendering Services _____________________ Virtual Construction
As the firms visualization needs grew, it became important for our clients to see for themselves the design ideas we were coming up with. Our designs had to be represented by illustrations preferably in the perspective views that we might see every day.
The only way we could do this was to show our clients renderings or at the very least, modeled design sketches which could illustrate our design intentions right from the beginning of our design process. It was always extremely valuable to receive early input from our clients about their ideas and using a modeling software would allow us to show our clients exactly what our combined ideas could create. No longer would our clients have to rely on two dimensional plans and elevations to get a picture of what our design looked like.
Modeling speeds up the entire design process by empowering our clients with the ability to make design changes alongside our own before we have spent a great deal of time. The time saved also allows the firm to spend more time evaluating the design of the project providing the best design solutions possible.
Through the use of advanced architectural modeling software such as ArchT and computerized conceptual sketching software known as 3D Studio, the firm is able to produce either draft or finished renderings that aid our clients and/or their communities in understanding the project more completely by allowing them to see for themselves our design ideas as we come up with them well before the project has been construction.
These renderings can be a great tool for gaining either the support of the public for a particular project or even selling the project to a specific counsel, board or financial institution.
This use of modeling also enables the firm to create elevations and sections of the proposed design model. These elevations and sections aid everyone involved with understanding the complexities of the project. They are not static either. As the design or model is revised, the elevations and sections are revised automatically to show the changes. These tools aid the entire design team to check for clearance issues before they begin their design efforts while utilizing the latest model information. This also cuts down the time to produce highly accurate drawings by eliminating communication and coordination problems by the design team.
